PORTRAIT OF FRANÇOIS DE BOISSCHOT AT THE AGE OF 2 YEARS AND 7 MONTHS Cornelis de Vos (1584-1651), Flemish school. Nothing is known about the early years of Cornelis de Vos. From 1635 to 1638 he worked with Jordaens and Rubens. He was a painter of portraits and family groups in Antwerp. François was the son of Ferdinand de Boisschot, Baron of Saventhem and Chancellor of Brabant, patron of Van Dyck.
