La Clementina was specialized in the execution of court portraits, we can find several of her works in the Palacio di Caccia di Stupinigi. One of them is the child portrait of Vittorio Amedeo III, dated one year before the portrait on display and where the stylistic correspondence between the two can be clearly seen.
