PORTRAIT OF A GIRL WITH ROSES, around 1660 Pier Francesco Cittadini called Il Milanese (1616-1681). Cittadini arrived in Bologna in 1633 together with his two sculptor brothers. At seventeen he was a student of Guido Reni. He was a painter of landscapes, still lifes and portraits, a genre in which he especially stood out. The costume and lace of this work allow us to date it to the end of the 17th century.
