Description

The work, very essential in its lines, was created by shaping each character on the wheel, and assembling them independently on a round base. Each element is assembled with extreme care and delicacy. The scene hosts a collective work of great originality and simplicity, different types of lines to compose every single element of the nativity scene. Different essences for different decorations and colors and different levels, joined together in a harmonious message of peace that transmits warmth and infuses love.

The work won the Single Prize at the XLII Mostra del Presepe di Grottaglie (December 2021 - January 2022) with the following motivation:

The work presents a central setting with elements of traditional iconography as well as characterized by oriental influences. Particularly striking is the plastic model that represents the Child Jesus depicted through the Comet Star which refers to the theme of light and becomes the guide and fulcrum of the entire representation. The technical rendering is embellished by the third fire, the luster in pure gold and the richness of the decoration .
