“The Accadimento work takes its name from the result of the creation process. The image shown on the surface of the artefact generates itself, it is the result of refined effects induced on the surface of the fresh clay through the application of coloring oxides in a dusty state. Then, by carefully and consciously bringing the matter several times from a state of semi-drying to one of rehydration, the added color disintegrates, multiple particles of the oxide powder are detached and copious drippings are formed; with cooking the result obtained is subsequently fixed. From these interactions with clay an aesthetic language is born that is articulated by opposites, where the logical part of designing the shape coexists and acquires meaning thanks to the surfaces then generated by chance, where aspects in antithesis such as constructive rigor and chaos. they find their raison d'être in a compositional expression generated with the help of personal reinterpretations of ceramic techniques and processes. The intent is to establish a relationship with matter aimed at evoking traces left by the inexorable flow of time, a theme addressed by excluding the exact measure, the objective quantity with which we all relate and organize our days in favor of different perceptions. linked to it, temporal dimensions belonging to the sphere of subjectivity and often placed in second order with respect to everyday life.
