The museum's archaeological collection is made up of ceramic materials dating from the eighth to seventh centuries BC. These are various ceramic finds that have emerged from the many archaeological campaigns: globular jars, with geometric motifs and painted or engraved paterae. Specifically, these are finds from the archaeological site of Masseria Vicentino, in the countryside of Grottaglie, identified for the first time in the mid-1960s. The various excavation campaigns have brought to light abundant ceramic finds, dated between the 8th and 4th centuries. BC, among which the globular jars with geometric motifs and painted or engraved paterae stand out.
