Displayed at the National Exhibition of Futurist Photography, held at the Permanent Exhibition on Via della Borsa in Trieste in April 1932,
the work is among the best-known of the early photographic activity. The young man climbing the lattice is Bernardo Seeber (1912-2005), one of Fosco Maraini's dearest friends and a companion on many of his youthful hiking and climbing excursions.
