Description

Japanese porcelain sculptures met with considerable success from the end of the seventeenth century onwards. Made by mold, like ours, they were sometimes decorated in three-color blue, red and gold typical of the formula called Imari, from the name of the port from which they were embarked for Europe. Ours had the function of holding an incense stick.
