G. Gianetti Ceramics Museum

The Giuseppe Gianetti Ceramics Museum, inaugurated in 1994, and the collection of precious eighteenth-century and contemporary ceramics, is located inside a 1938 villa that was the home of the Biffi family, of which Nina was the wife of Giuseppe Gianetti. period villa the floors, parquet floors, marbles, stairways, doors and windows, furnishings, paintings, mirrors, Murano chandeliers, bathrooms with relative taps and even light switches are preserved unaltered. of note are the railing of the staircase leading to the second floor of the Museum which was created starting from a drawing by Carla Biffi, and the built-in wardrobes, recently transformed into display cases that house the collector's personal effects. the Museum with its small rose garden and contemporary art installations.The museum was conceived not only as a place of memory and collection, but as an opportunity to create a movement of expression-creation and documentation-research in the field of visual, plastic and decorative arts.
