The Museum Of Saint Agostino
The Museum is housed in the Augustinian convent of medieval origin and houses sculptures, detached frescoes, an evocative collection of medieval painted tables and precious ceramics. The exhibition venue allows a complete journey into the world of Genoese sculpture from the early Middle Ages to the modern age; its collections are also rich in detached frescoes and monumental paintings, which make the visit articulated, varied and rich in cross-references
Alongside works by some of the great protagonists of Genoese art, such as F.M. Schiaffino, Valerio Castello, Domenico Piola, Luca Cambiaso, F. Parodi, the masterpieces of Giovanni Pisano and Pierre Puget stand out.
