The research of the young artist Diego Dutto is linked to the distortion and reworking of living and vital elements, animals or living beings, which strongly characterize and symbolize the meaning of life. The result is to achieve a mechanical result, a sort of hybrid, to make a passage of metamorphosis even more evident. Often the starting point is connected to particularly ancient, fantastic and mythological beings, redesigned and updated. On display in the atrium of the Manica Nuova we find the «Kimera», a sort of new animal hybrid with a heroic and salvific character, and the «DR46ON», a work conceived and studied specifically for this exhibition.
