Here is what Prof. Ye Zhemin writes about it in the Palace Museum Journal n ° 3, 2000, Beijing: “Jar with a drawing of a wild goose in the clouds in black and brown on a white background of the type of the Cizhou furnace, Ming dynasty. The Cizhou kiln is renowned for its folk pottery and has an unbroken history of imitations by many kilns. In this jar, with simple but energetic brushstrokes, a wild goose was painted among the clouds. It resembles a composition of flowers, set up in such an original way that, in comparison with the "flowers and birds" decorations of subsequent dynasties, it stands out for its liveliness and naturalness. "
