In nuragic sculpture the animal world is reproduced with great sensitivity. When this civilization flourished in Sardinia, man had contributed to shaping nature by introducing plants and animals that he needed for his activities, respectfully managing the environment in which he lived and practicing extensive forms of farming that allowed the conservation of many species and natural habitats.
