From 30 May to 31 August 2025
Preceded in 1970 by the World of Ideas, a production center that explored the points of contact between art and everyday environment, Mario Pieroni's gallery opened in 1975 at the Bagno Borbonico in Pescara with the famous Theatrical Installation by Luciano Fabro, followed by exhibitions, among others, by Jannis Kounellis, Mario Merz, Vettor Pisani.
In 1979, the gallery moved to Rome, in via Panisperna, inaugurating with a collective exhibition of Gino De Dominicis, Jannis Kounellis, and Ettore Spalletti. Throughout the 1980s, the gallery positioned itself as an international reference point for conceptual orientation research in a Rome that witnessed the "return" of painting.
Preserved at the headquarters of the Zerynthia association until 2022, the year of the purchase by MAXXI, the archive is now accessible to the public following the organization activities.
