The exhibition curated by Stefano Chiodi gathers for the first time the main cycles of works by Andrea Fogli (Rome 1959) created from 2000 to the present day. Each cycle, conceived as an Atlas, as a diorama of real or imaginary figures and places, completed day by day like a diary, with a different number of figures: often 59, like the beads of the rosary, other times 365 like the days of the year, but also 111 like the pages of Alighiero Boetti's hermetic red books.

The exhibition path, which leads from formlessness to the extreme sharpness of the image, begins with the cycle Effemeridi del Giardino (2019), consisting of polychrome polymaterial sculptures, photos, and handwritten texts, continues with the cycle of the Dormienti, composed of small 'grains' in raw clay created between October 2021 and March 2022 and with the drawings that make up the Diario delle ombre (2000-2006) along with the polychrome terracottas of the Piccolo Popolo (2019-2022).

The epicenter of the exhibition consists of the 111 pencil drawings of the cycle Vedenti (2002-2024), presented here in its entirety for the first time. Each drawing depicts the eyes and gaze of a visionary who has acted "against the wind" and "against the time", from Pier Paolo Pasolini to Etty Hillisum, from Martin Luther King to Alexander Langer, from Bernadette Soubirous to Hannah Arendt, from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry to Walt Disney, from Rosa Luxemburg to Maria Montessori... An artwork that holds a collective memory welcoming personalities who have acted in various fields and whom the artist calls upon as "heretical visionary masters" to guide us in the face of the difficult challenges of the 21st century.

The exhibition concludes with the cycles dedicated to the theme of the face, Diario dei 59 grani di argilla (2013-2014) and Diario dei 59 grani di polvere (2020-2021).
