Marzia Migliora's exhibition, displayed from March 21 to May 25, 2025 at Palazzo Abatellis, explores the theme of work as an identity factor through a series of unpublished works born from workshops with individuals in penal execution. A project that combines art, social inclusion, and historical memory.

Starting from March 21, 2025, and until May 25 of the same year, the Regional Gallery of Palazzo Abatellis in Palermo hosts the exhibition "Minuto Mantenimento," conceived by the artist Marzia Migliora (Alessandria, 1972), curated by Elisa Fulco and Antonio Leone. The exhibition, representing a meeting point between contemporary art and social reintegration actions, is the result of a workshop cycle held in 2024 by the artist aimed at individuals under the responsibility of the UEPE, the Interdistrict Office for External Penal Execution of Palermo. The project is part of the broader program "Spazio Acrobazie," an initiative aimed at social requalification through artistic mediation. "Minuto Mantenimento" unfolds as an innovative educational model that combines art and reintegration, promoting active participation and social inclusion. A project supported by the Fondazione Sicilia and Fondazione CON IL SUD, involving numerous local partners including the Teatro Massimo in Palermo and the International Puppet Museum Antonio Pasqualino.

The exhibition is presented as an experiential journey that focuses on work as a tool for recovery and identity affirmation. The exhibited works are the direct result of a dialogue between the artist and the workshop participants. This dialogue led to the creation of thirty unpublished drawings collected in Notebook 58, "Minuto Mantenimento," which represent the core of the exhibition. In addition to the drawings, the exhibition includes five work overalls (Overall #1, Home Everywhere; Overall #2, Landscape Voice; Overall #3, Care for Earthlings; Overall #4, Unsaid Theater; Overall #5, Writing to Not Disappear), designed in collaboration with the tailoring of the Teatro Massimo and the company Ferrino S.p.A., which have a strong symbolic value. Each overall is a true sculpture, a piece that tells the story of the people who took part in the project. The overalls are also directly linked to the medieval fresco "Triumph of Death," preserved at Palazzo Abatellis, creating a connection between the themes of death, identity, and work.
