The Fondazione Valenzi is an international institution, politically unaligned, active in culture and social issues. It was established in 2009 with the aim of safeguarding and consolidating the heritage of Maurizio Valenzi, an Italian and European parliamentarian, who was mayor of Naples from 1975 to 1983. The Foundation promotes a culture of dialogue and freedoms in the Mediterranean starting from a renewed idea of Europe and carries out cultural and social initiatives against all forms of marginalization and racism.
