In the Naval Museum of Pegli, in the Renaissance villa of Giovanni Andrea Doria, the maritime collections relating to Genoa and the Rivieras ranging from the 15th to the 19th century are exhibited.
You can admire precious geographical maps, paintings, drawings, naval models, construction and navigation tools and "visit" the ancient shipyards and artisan shops linked to the maritime world.
Relevant evidence of material culture of Ligurian sailors and shipwrights. The Naval Museum of Pegli is today an integral part of Mu.MA - Institution of the Sea and Migration Museums of Genoa, which also has other exhibition venues such as the Galata Museo del Mare, the Commenda di Prè and the Lanterna.
