The Naval Museum Of Pegli
In the Renaissance villa of Giovanni Andrea Doria are exhibited the maritime collections relating to Genoa and the Riviere ranging from the fifteenth to the nineteenth century. You can admire precious geographical maps, paintings, drawings, naval models, construction and navigation tools and "visit" the ancient shipyards and artisan shops linked to the maritime world. The evidence of material culture of Ligurian sailors and shipwrights is significant. The Museum is now an integral part of Mu.MA - Institution of the Sea and Migration Museums of Genoa, which also has other exhibition venues such as the Galata Museo del Mare, the Commenda di Prè and the Lanterna.
