The H2 - Zentrum für Gegenwartskunst im Glaspalast is a contemporary art museum in Augsburg. Founded in 2006, it is the most recently founded museum in Augsburg. It is based in the so-called Glaspalast, in the Augsburg textile district, a former cotton spinning mill built by Philipp Jakob Manz and completed in 1910. The museum regularly organizes temporary exhibitions, with an exhibition space of approximately 2000 square meters. In addition to exhibitions, temporary installations, guided tours, concerts and film screenings, the center offers a public library on 20th and 21st century art. The museum collection is constantly expanding. It notably includes works by regional artists and artists working in Augusta.
