Piero della Francesca is one of the greatest masters of the Italian Renaissance, famous for his skill in the use of perspective and light. Among his most iconic works stands out the Madonna del Parto, a fresco preserved in the Museum of Monterchi. His masterpieces, including the Flagellation of Christ and the Diptych of the Dukes of Urbino, represent the pinnacle of fifteenth-century painting.
