From 9 October to 31 December 2025
A new site-specific installation at Palazzo Maffei in Verona, a dialogue between art and architecture born from the dreamlike poetics of Anna Galtarossa, accompanied by the "sound echoes" composed by Oscar-winning Nicolas Becker.
Cometa, with a 13-meter tail, rotates slowly, in a succession of organic, industrial, and colorful materials, blending irony, fantastic invention, and ecological reflections. Time seems suspended and the Comet dances, carrying with it the sound of the universe and, in its tail, familiar elements reprogrammed as new material for the world that will come after ours.
Its slow movement, balancing between existence and destruction, where will it lead and how will we react to all this? The Veronese artist shapes space, invents, creates, plays, and alters it, integrating stories and memories between the real world and dreams.
"The glittering and colorful journey that Cometa proposes - writes Andrea Lissoni - is that of a monument of the present: it does not celebrate heroism or completed revolutions, but opens up to hypotheses, fantasies, ancestral games whose rules we do not know."
