The artist Coquelicot Mafille will be the protagonist of the new series of events at the Organic Museum for the contemporary art section with the solo exhibition "Your dream in my dream", an exhibition project that intertwines textile art, painting, and words to reflect on the relationship between humans, nature, and living worlds. The exhibition brings together large textile banners, paintings, and site-specific interventions, works that create an immersive path where images, symbols, and language become tools of awareness and imagination. Through intense colors, human figures, animals, plants, and poetic texts, the artist invites the audience to rethink their place within ecosystems and the relationships that connect all forms of life.

At the heart of Coquelicot Mafille's research - writes curator Mariolina Cosseddu in the critical text accompanying the exhibition - is the project "Set Sail to Somewhere Golden", a series of cotton fabric drapes where the silhouettes of figures sewn on the canvas paint scenarios to be read with increasingly alarmed attention. Banners of a secular religiosity, they appear as emblems of an open and inviting ceremony, flags of a liturgy for the initiated. In fact, they are maps of the world, conceived by the artist first in drawings on paper, then transferred to multicolored fabrics cut out and applied with needle and thread by those who have made embroidery and sewing practice their language in the contemporary. At the center of the representation, human and animal figures, flowers, and words of an alphabet of the soul dialogue, while the dramaturgy being staged is gradually revealed: the splendor of form is indeed a blatant denunciation of the horrors of the world. As the artist states, these works are a full of vital energy invocation that invites us to be aware of the interconnectedness of all living beings and arise from the desire to shake and decolonize our thinking to act quickly in response to the extinction of intertwined ecosystems. The exhibited works tell the fragility of the planet, the connections between species, collective responsibilities, and the possibility of imagining a fairer and more shared future. The aesthetic, seductive, and luminous dimension is accompanied by a strong ethical and political tension, transforming each work into an invitation to listen and participate.
