From its origins dating back to prehistory to the medieval village and then to the modern city, the City Museum, reopened in 2019, tells the story of Rovereto, the urban and social evolution but also daily life, sport, schools, culture , the press, industry and everything that has transformed Rovereto over the centuries up to the city we know today.
A journey through time through artifacts, works of art, everyday objects and "various art" and archival photographs from the city's collections, multimedia supports. The museum is housed in the eighteenth-century Sichart palace, built by a merchant family from Nuremberg and originally intended for the storage and sale of fabrics and yarns.
