The Fondazione Nicola Del Roscio is a non-profit cultural project, located in the heart of Rome, open to the city and aimed at the global art scene, in the spirit of research and support for the arts of our time. Nicola Del Roscio, president of the foundation that bears his name and of the Cy Twombly Foundation, New York, wanted to share with the city a new space to enhance and narrate contemporary creativity in an innovative way. 

The exhibition venue of Fondazione Nicola Del Roscio is located in a splendid building from the 1920s between Piazza di Spagna and via del Tritone, at via Francesco Crispi 18. 

It is a palace in the heart of Rome dating back to the 1920s: about 700 square meters, characterized by an oval-shaped hall, intended to host exhibitions produced by the institution. The large entrance, overlooking via Crispi with a large glass door, is an invitation to enter the dimension of art addressed to everyone and emphasizes the idea of openness, sharing, and dialogue that are at the core of the project. There is also another aspect that makes the building on via Francesco Crispi an emblematic place for the city; between the 1930s and 1960s, these spaces housed the Teatro Florida, a multifunctional environment dedicated to theatrical performances, cinema, and nightlife, whose sign remains in the memory of many Romans to this day and is preserved among the frames of the film Bicycle Thieves (1948) by Vittorio De Sica.

The program includes the production of original exhibitions by nationally and internationally renowned artists, along with a calendar of in-depth events featuring valuable and unusual proposals related to dance, cinema, music, and literature.
Special attention is also given to themes of science, the environment, and biodiversity, as is the tradition of Fondazione Nicola Del Roscio, which has been involved for years in the management of the Botanical Garden of Monte Orlando in Gaeta, an interesting Italian experience of acclimatization and protection of subtropical flora, particularly palms, and the conservation of botanical species at risk of extinction in their places of origin.
