From 22 March to 28 April 2024
Inspired by the verses of the Divine Comedy, Riccardo Boccuzzi tells Dante's Inferno to Artificial Intelligence, which for the first time returns an entire literary work in images, giving it its own original interpretation.
Twenty-one works printed in large format and very high quality, others presented on audiovisual support, as well as animated videos and an extract from a documentary, directed by the artist himself, which recounts the long creative and production process. The result is Artificial Hell, Dante's infernal journey which, passing through over 10,000 images, becomes the first sequence of figurative works created by an algorithm.
Thanks to a common and uniform style of the images, these take on the raw colors of a world that oscillates between Gothic and fantasy, where the undefined faces of the characters evoke a dimension of mystery and discovery, guiding us in a truly immersive experience that allows the visitor to delve into the circles of hell together with Dante and Virgil.
