The show

The “Spazi Neutri” Collective Exhibition opens on 24 September at 4.00 pm , with the 30 works selected by the Jury of the 1st Edition of the Antonio Carena Prize .

The Prize, dedicated to the artist to discover new artists, contemplates the desire to tell and contextualize the artistic paths of Antonio Carena in the best possible way but above all, it wants to contribute in promoting and spreading contemporary art.

The theme of the Prize, which will change with each edition, will revolve around a reflection on painting made by Antonio Carena to recognize new ideas and excellence, as the artist himself would have done. In this edition, the artists have been entrusted with the task of reflecting on the INFORMAL PATH of Carena (1950s - 1960s) to best describe and contextualize his message and make it visually through the artistic production of each one.

The members of the Jury are: Andrea Quaranta (painter), Maria Rosa Frigieri (painter), Barbara Aimar (journalist), Silvano Alberi (Art Advisor), the Piscina Arte Aperta Committee.
