The mission of the Castello di Rivoli Museo d’ Contemporary Art è to promote understanding of our time through the’ art and culture, involving the local and international public to foster social and civil growth of the territory in which it operates. In addition to collecting and exhibiting works d’ art, the Museum è a center for the Creatives , Search , l’ education and development of culture especially in the field of&rsquo ; contemporary art in a reflection on the present as it passes through a dynamic relationship with the past. The Castello di Rivoli è also a reference point for the art world, establishing for the first time in Italy a model of a museum dedicated to contemporary. With its innovative exhibitions and artistic performances radicals, since its founding in 1984, the Museo d’ Contemporary Art isè developed taking into account the’ uniquenessà dell’ baroque building that houses it. Designed in 1718 by Filippo Juvarra, the Castleè constant source of inspiration for the artists invited by stimulating the creation of new works designed specifically for the museum's Permanent Collection.
