Climate Change Theater Action, founded in 2015, is an international festival of readings and performances of short plays on climate change organized every two years to coincide with the UN COP meetings.

CCTA was originally founded by Elaine Ávila, Chantal Bilodeau, Roberta Levitow, and Caridad Svich following a model pioneered by the NoPassport Theater Alliance. It has since evolved into a US-Canada collaboration between The Arctic Cycle and the Center for Sustainable Practice.

In the digital exhibition which is free and available online to users all over the world in both Italian and English, Morassutti also presents When by Wren Brian created by Nicole Schafenacker to protect McIntrye Creek, a vital corridor for wildlife that passes through Whitehorse, YT, Canada on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta'an Kwäch'än Council.

The show was created in collaboration with the Canadian Parks environmental organization's Yukon Chapter and the Wilderness Society, Soon is Now where Hudson Valley and New York artists, including poet Edwin Torres, read fragments of plays taken from the CCTA repertoire, Deal me a New Green - CCTA in Austria, where engaging performances and dynamic discussions on planetary connection and theater in the era of the climate crisis were able to connect students who participated in the CCTA on deeply human levels and Zoë Svendsen's "Love Out Of Ruins" , a podcast-audio performance in which several voices envisioned a different kind of future. The podcast was produced by Kart Productions in collaboration with NOVUS Theater, both based in Greece.
