The Museum of the Treasure of the Cathedral is located in a wing of the Archbishop's Palace, richly frescoed in the sixteenth century, and tells the millennia-old history of the diocese of Vercelli.

It offers biannually the exhibition Walking between sacred and profane, a series of cultural events for adults and children dedicated to the discovery of the museum heritage and the literary heritage preserved in the adjacent Capitular Library. The exhibition includes works of goldsmithing, furnishings and liturgical items, textiles, paintings mainly from the Cathedral of S. Eusebio. Each work is linked to important moments in the history of Vercelli, not only on a religious level, but also on a social, political, and artistic level, over the long period from the 3rd to the 20th century.

The complexity of the collection allows for the organization of ordinary and extraordinary events for various audiences, often carried out in collaboration with city museums, local authorities, national and international universities. In addition to guided tours and educational workshops regularly offered to schools, targeted visits to specific periods or aspects, conferences, workshops, and labs for adults are often organized.

The Museum is also open to new technological frontiers in the field of conservation and study of cultural heritage, often being part of national and international scientific projects.
