From 30 April to 12 June 2022
On Saturday 30 April at 6 pm , at Palazzo Mosca - Musei Civici , the exhibition by Antonio Delle Rose entitled ' The day will come the night will come ', curated by Bruno Ceci, promoted by the Municipality of Pesaro - Department of Beauty in collaboration with Sistema Museo.
With his large oils and drawings, the Pesaro artist exhibits images of women and men who represent - in translated form - the time intervals within which each individual existence is delimited. Delle Rose, who likes to define himself as a 'painter', leaving the indeterminacy inherent in the noun 'artist' to contemporary contaminations and experiments, speaks of portraits only in this relationship.
His painted figuration openly declares a sentimental distance from the depressing injuries of everyday life. Day and Night not as meteorological moments, but as points of spiritual delimitation, as expressive focuses. "Eros and Thanatos, here are the magnetic poles of Delle Rose's art from which he cannot and does not want to escape, actually sinking the edge of reflection as far as he feels he can reach, and even beyond", so Marilena Pasquali in an essay by 2004 and so the art critic Toni Toniato, on the occasion of the great exhibition of 2017 at the MUSINF Museum in Senigallia: "What can we say, then, if not that everything is strengthened in the face of what your paintings expressed with a nonconformist spirit - well far from the fashions of immediate success of the moment and aimed rather at seeking once again much more lasting forms and meanings. Your painting does not require easy consents, but requires, as it should be for any authentic artistic experience, depth of gaze and richness of thought ”.
