The exhibition of reproductions of the works exhibited in Strasbourg, realized in the month of May at the French Institute of Naples "Grenoble" and inaugurated during the Franco-Neapolitan week.
The exhibition will be open from October 25 to November 14, from Monday to Friday from 11 am to 5 pm in the Litza Cittanova Valenzi hall.
For the occasion, the portfolio titled "Maurizio Valenzi. Images from two revolutions" has been republished: the folder consists of 22 plates reproducing the works of Maurizio Valenzi created for the Bicentennial of the French Revolution (1789 - 1989) and exhibited for the first time at the Palais de l'Europe in Strasbourg in 1989. The paintings mainly illustrate moments of the Neapolitan Revolution of 1799. The publication is enriched with the original text by Maurizio Valenzi and an unpublished writing by Carmine Pinto.
