The eighth edition of Personal Structures, the biennial exhibition of contemporary art organized by ECC Italy in Venice, will welcome visitors from May 9 to November 22, 2026. In a society marked by fractures, displacements, and accelerated transformations, Personal Structures – Confluences emerges as a space of encounter. It is a place where artistic practices, cultures, and disciplines intersect, contaminate each other, and generate new possibilities of coexistence. The exhibition presents a wide selection of works by internationally renowned and emerging artists, photographers, and sculptors, as well as galleries and academic institutions from around the world, exhibited in the historic venues of Palazzo Bembo, Palazzo Mora, and the Giardini della Marinaressa in Venice. The collective exhibition is an invitation to rediscover the value of sharing and to imagine more open, sensitive, and sustainable forms of coexistence. Palazzo Mora hosts the Pavilion of El Salvador, making its first appearance at the 61st International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, with the project Cartographies of the Displaced by the artist J. Oscar Molina, curated by Alejandra Cabezas. In the same venue, the collaboration with the Palestine Museum US continues for the fourth year, which this year has been selected as the Official Collateral Event of the Venice Biennale, presenting: "Gaza – No Words – See the Exhibit."
