As part of the Franco-Neapolitan Week, organized by the French Institute of Naples Grenoble and the Consulate of France in Naples, and the celebrations of the 2500 years of the city of Naples, the Valenzi Foundation has organized the exhibition entitled "Maurizio Valenzi. Images from two revolutions".
The vernissage with the presence of Consul Lise Moutoumalaya will take place on Friday, May 30th, but the exhibition will be open for visits from May 30th to June 12th, from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 8 pm, and consists of 22 panels reproducing the works of Maurizio Valenzi produced on the occasion of the Bicentenary of the French Revolution (1789 - 1989) and exhibited for the first time at the Palais de l'Europe in Strasbourg in 1989. The paintings mainly illustrate moments of the Neapolitan Revolution of 1799.
For this occasion, the "portfolio" has also been reprinted, the folder of paper reproductions of the same paintings.
