From 9 December 2022. We are waiting for you to participate in Heartbeat interactive sound installation, an installation by the artist and musician Li Alin to the rhythm of your heartbeat.
Two participants sit in the center of a circle formed by eight bass drums. Their heart rate is monitored by sensors. Each bass drum (4 for each participant) is connected to a motorized stick, which is in turn connected to a computer. The heart rate data will then be converted into pulses that activate the motors to beat the drums. The experience of feeling your heartbeat pulsing in space can be mesmerizing. Soon the participant becomes aware of the music his heart makes with each other. After a while, the two hearts often synchronize: a magical moment of two pulsations together.One is prompted to reflect on the incredible work of the heart that keeps us alive with every beat, every second, and the profound experience of synchronizing with the heart of another human being. It leads us to reflect on the birth of music and the deep connection we have with each other, pulsing together in this world. A Live Performance to mark the opening on Friday, December 9 will be performed by Li Alin and audio artist visual Greg Smith. We are waiting for you from 9 to 18 December to live this unique experience.
