The Museum

Musical Instrument Museum in Milan , located in the rooms of Castello Sforzesco, displays a rich and varied collection of musical instruments from the fifteenth century BC until the twentieth century. The exhibition opens with a section dedicated to the Monzino family collection: tools and materials to create tools d space and bit , as forms of violins and guitars, saws, chisels, and forty musical instruments. A  a core  examples made between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, collected by the same family, follow  many instruments luthiers who worked in the employ of the Monzino. There are violas, violins, guitars and mandolins, in the Milanese and Neapolitan variants after a selection   musical instruments ethnographic,  the exhibition continues organized by typological groupings: string instruments , stringed instruments , wind instruments SRPE , clutch, hurdy and violas, tools keyboard.
