The great monuments of Pisa, visited and admired by millions of tourists, providing the backdrop. And in the foreground, the artists of the contemporary scene, capable of drawing inspiration from classicism to reinterpret and interpret it.
Pisa is ready to transform into a widespread gallery, open and accessible to all. Young people, adults, children.
The second edition of Pisa Art Week will take place from June 7 to 9 and will involve the whole city.
The main exhibition space - a true workshop of art and design, with free entry from 10 am to 8 pm - will be the Arsenali Repubblicani overlooking the riverbanks. Here, the works of four artists with different styles and inspirations but with a common reference point will be hosted: classical art, interpreted in a personal way. During the three days, the artists will present their works and create new ones on the spot.
The itinerary will be enriched by a series of exhibitions and installations distributed in the city galleries animated by events and opportunities for meeting.
Pisa Art Week is organized by the association Athena together with Confcommercio Pisa and Camera di Commercio - Terre di Pisa, with the sponsorship and support of the Municipality of Pisa, the patronage of the Tuscany Region, and the collaboration of a dense network of sponsors and partners.
