In the characteristic neighborhood of Le Panier, a few steps from the Vieux-Port, you will find the Préau des Accoules - Musée des Enfants, the only free municipal museum space entirely dedicated to children (5-12 years old) in Marseille. Located in the ancient Préau des Jesuits (1782-83), now restored with Doric columns and elegant ceilings, the museum offers two interactive theatrical exhibitions created specifically for the young audience every year.

Each exhibition is designed as a playful and sensory journey, with setups tailored to children: works selected from the collections of Marseille's museums are reinterpreted with games, creative workshops, animated tours, making art accessible and engaging.
