The Malaga Wine Museum is a space dedicated to the history, culture, art and educational activities on the wines of the province of Malaga.
The museum houses over four hundred lithographs (labels and signs from the 19th and 20th centuries), an interpretation center, a tasting room, a training room and a shop.
The Malaga Wine Museum was created by the will of the wine sector itself to spread the quality and prestige of the wines and culture of which they are witnesses. The Museum is located in Palazzo Biedmas, an eighteenth-century building which, after renovations, was inaugurated on 3 July 2008: it is more than eight hundred square meters where 400 antique pieces are exhibited, including bottle labels, posters and advertising prints. for wine and raisins, barrel heads, sketches and profiles, stucco and passerine cover and lithographic stones.
The Museum also offers the visitor a journey into the history and geography of wine and vineyards in the wine-producing areas of the province and the elaboration, typology and aging of the fortified and naturally sweet wines that make up the DO Malaga, and the whites , reds and pinks from the DO Sierras de Málaga.
