The Jorge Rando Museum in Malaga is dedicated to the artist whose name it bears and is the first and only Expressionist museum in Spain.

The Museum focuses on the dissemination and study and research of the painter's work, the expressionist and neo-expressionist movements.

The musoe exhibits Rando's works and also several high-level temporary exhibitions such as those on Käthe Kollwitz, Ernst Barlach and other great representatives of Expressionism and Neo-Expressionism. The Museum, within the city panorama is also a meeting place so much that it is the only museum in the world with an art laboratory in its facilities, called El Atelier, where painters and artists can discover expressionist art by creating real and own works. It is in fact the Museum to make available to artists, in addition to its own structures, the various materials necessary for the realization of their works.

All the exhibitions are accompanied by a vast cultural program (conferences, talks, interactive visits, concerts, cineforums, plays, literary and philosophical meetings or workshops for children). The Museum has distinguished itself since its opening for being the Salotto dell'Arte.
