The St. Annen Museum is a museum of medieval, Renaissance and sacred art in Lübeck. It is located within the complex of the "Museumsquartier St. Annen", an Augustinian monastery from the beginning of the 16th century, where there is also the Kunsthalle St. Annen, a museum and exhibition space for modern and contemporary art. After being used as a house for the poor and a penitentiary and a major fire in 1843, the Museum was opened in the ancient environment, the reconstruction of which was completed in 1915.

The museum holds a collection of medieval art and in particular has the largest number of medieval altars in Germany (28), including the "Altar of the Passion" by Hans Memling. There are also numerous sculptures in wood and limestone, as well as the sacred vestments of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. In addition to the artistic collection, the museum also preserves a series of objects and reconstructions of environments that show the cultural history of the city in its most strictly everyday aspect.
