The Naval Museum of Pegli
In the Naval Museum of Pegli , in the Renaissance villa of Giovanni Andrea Doria, the maritime collections relating to Genoa and the Rivieras ranging from the 15th to the 19th century are exhibited.
You can admire precious geographical maps, paintings, drawings, naval models, construction and navigation tools and "visit" the ancient shipyards and craft shops linked to the maritime world.
The evidence of material culture of the Ligurian sailors and shipwrights is significant. The Naval Museum of Pegli is today an integral part of Mu.MA - Istituzione Musei del Mare e delle Migrazioni di Genova , which also has other exhibition venues such as the Galata Museo del Mare, the Commenda di Prè and the Lanterna.
