The Santa Giulia Museum, from September 30, 2025 to February 15, 2026, hosts the anthology, titled Guido Crepax. Dreams, Games, Valentina. 1953-2003, which pays tribute to Guido Crepax (1933-2003), one of the most unforgettable Italian comic book authors.

The exhibition, promoted by the Fondazione Brescia Musei in collaboration with the Archivio Crepax and curated by Alberto Fiz and Ilaria Bignotti, with the collaboration of Camilla Remondina, represents a unique opportunity to analyze the career of the famous artist through a philological path that spans fifty years, highlighting the importance of an author who not only transformed the language of comics, of which he was an undisputed master, but also played a significant role in post-war Italian art and culture.

The exhibition delves into Crepax's extensive production in his fruitful dialogue with the arts through 150 works, some of which have never been exhibited, including original panels, sketches, drawings, advertising projects, film storyboards, record covers, and games.

Divided into seven thematic paths, the initiative examines Crepax's stylistic evolution thanks to a rigorous selection of 100 original panels that highlight his extraordinary inventions.

The exhibition is the first comprehensive investigation into Crepax's creativity, highlighting other aspects of his research linked not only to comics, but also to advertising, television, cinema, theater – in 2000, he designed costumes for Salomé by Paolo Scheriani and in 2001 for Lulu by Alban Berg, directed by Mario Martone – to music – he created over 300 record covers – and games.
