Description

Belloni's research focuses on the unpredictable, on rituals and practices of spirituality Contemporary. In the first place, his work interprets the subsoil as a place of magic and the unknown, where new knowledge is produced. Prediction aft er the blaze is an ongoing project which consists of a series of sculptures on forecasting the future. The artist uses spodomancy, an ancient form of divination in which you can read the signs left by the ashes of a sacred fire to interpret them the meaning. The words produced by the artist thanks to this ritual give life to a new language. Installed on the wall, as a result of a spell, this project interprets the apocalypse, language and rituals as cultural ruins and methods dologies to create a new semantics.
