Full text of the prajñaparamita (The Transcendent Wisdom) in eight thousand verses, with both wooden covers, richly carved and gilded. The volume consists of 374 sheets of 20 x 70 cm, written in gold on an indigo background. On the thick cardboard frontispiece, decorated with miniatures, the initial letters are drawn in relief and gilded. The 12 miniatures present in the text are in the style of the 14th or early 15th century thang-ka (St. M. Kossak and J. Casy Singer: Early Paintings from Central Tibet, p.109, N ° 24). The colophon on the last sheet, which will have to be studied better, appears difficult to read: it contains the names of two characters, father and son, of which no information has so far been found in known historical sources.
