Alevtina Kakhidze translated her story and the events experienced by the family into works of art. Thus, we discover the story of the mother, who lived in the occupied city of Ždanivka, in the Donetsk region, through the work created for Imago Mundi Collection. Alevtina talked to her mother on the mobile phone every day and wrote everything she told her: everyday problems, women at the Ždanivka market, neighbors who became separatists, grenades that wiped out human lives. According to the artist, these conversations gave her the opportunity to experience the war with her mother and to reflect it in her work.
