The Kunsthalle Wien is showing Diego Marcon's latest film La Gola, which can be roughly translated as "The Throat". The film, which combines different genres such as horror and musical, follows a correspondence between two characters, Gianni and Rossana. Gianni describes the successive courses of an exquisite banquet, while Rossana recounts the agonizing details of her mother's illness. For Marcon's first solo exhibition in Austria, the exhibition space on the ground floor of the Kunsthalle in the MuseumsQuartier is transformed into a cinematic environment that represents an exaggerated interpretation of cinematic codes.
