Hosted at the Mole Antonelliana, a symbolic monument of the City of Turin, The National Cinema Museum is unique in the world. It illustrates in a spectacular presentation the entire history of cinema, from the first experiments with moving images to cinema in Virtual Reality.
A center of excellence for innovation, it is a cultural hub of international relevance and organizes, throughout the year, a rich program of exhibitions, reviews, and tributes to the great protagonists of cinema, Videomapping shows, three film festivals - Turin Film Festival, CinemAmbiente, Lovers Film Festival - and the TorinoFilmLab, a hub of high professional training for young talents. Among the museum's missions is the preservation and enhancement of a heritage of over 2,200,000 works, preserved through restoration and digitization.
