In the solo exhibition The Ideal City, the artist 𝗚𝗶𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲 reflects on the crisis of the idea of the city as a harmonious space and a symbol of civilization. Her images create a visual narrative in which the Renaissance ideal is juxtaposed with the desolation of the present through a visual and photographic graft devoid of apparent contrasts. By reworking the ideal plans of Filarete, Sale transforms perfect cities into a metaphor for contemporary crisis: her city has no future, but a past devastated by the present. The journey is completed by over 120 polaroids suspended in the center of the room, depicting natural landscapes and urban views, testifying to the artist's dual interest in the natural and built environment.
