While waiting for the great Angelo Vaninetti exhibition, which will open in Sondrio in 2024 for the centenary of the artist's birth, today we present the second part of the "triptych" of initiatives dedicated to him.

After the anthology of his art collection, exhibited in 2022, it is now time to observe his works in dialogue with those of two of his German friends, Gerhard Betterman and Werner Rieger, among the founders of the "Schleswig-Holstein 56" .

29 works of art will be exhibited, in dialogue with each other, by the three artists, among whom a certain affinity can be found in landscape inspiration, far from a certain conventional naturalism. Annalisa, daughter of Angelo Vaninetti, has selected some of her father's works that can tell the story of the friendship in dialogue with the works of the artists themselves preserved by Vaninetti, works that give us landscapes of a nature loved and appreciated from the clearest line, some more evanescent other.

An exhibition that aims to bring the citizens of Sondrio and its tourists a continuous interview with nature, in the search for an encounter with the world, which however also opens up to the beyond and elsewhere.
