What happens when our deepest fears, dreams, and visions become visible? The exhibition "Nightmare and Vision. Between Shadow and Enlightenment" in the Graphic Cabinet showcases around 50 works of graphic art and painting that lead their visitors into the hidden worlds of human imagination. It invites you to travel through four centuries to the origins of European Surrealism and to get to know influential pioneers such as Lucas Cranach, Francisco de Goya, and Max Klinger.
